“You Won’t Believe How Fun It Was!” — My Cherry-Picking Day in Orange
Guys, I just got back from the most amazing one-day tour in Orange and I have to tell you all about it!

We started early—picked up from the city around 8:00 AM, then Strathfield at 8:30 AM. I was half-asleep at first, but the drive was so pretty, and everyone on the bus was buzzing with excitement. It was my first time cherry picking, so I didn’t know what to expect… but wow, it was even better than I imagined!

Our first stop was the Hydro Majestic Hotel—so fancy! The views were stunning, and the building had this old-world charm. We didn’t stay long, just enough to stretch and take a few photos.

Then we grabbed a quick lunch at McDonald’s (classic, right?) before heading to the cherry farm. And that’s when the real fun began. We spent two whole hours picking cherries—and not just any cherries. These were huge, super sweet ones, the kind you only dream about. The trees were loaded, and we could eat as we picked! I was walking around with cherry juice on my fingers and the biggest smile on my face.

Oh—and if you ever go, bring a hat and wear comfy covered shoes. The farm is big and the ground’s a bit uneven, so you’ll want to be prepared.

Before we left, we stopped at the farm gate stall, and I couldn’t resist buying some fresh fruit and eggs. And get this—they had double-yolk eggs from special chickens raised right there in Orange! I’ve never seen eggs like that before. I’m saving them for breakfast tomorrow.

Honestly, it was such a perfect day. Great weather, fun people, delicious cherries, and a little countryside charm. I wish you guys had come with me! Next time, we’re all going—deal?
