What Can I see?

Island Farm, Sheep Shearing and Milk a Cow

We'll guide you through the tall mountain ash eucalypt forests of the Blue Dandenongs, roads lined with tree ferns, beautiful traditional gardens and small villages noted for their art and craft shops. Puffing Billy Steam Train - an original steam locomotive and one of Victoria's most unique attractions. You will delight to the sounds of the whistle and steam as you ride Puffing Billy through the forest.

Churchill Island: Join in on the activities of the island heritage farm. You'll have the opportunity
to participate in milking a cow, patting baby animals,
learn about sheep shearing and much more. You'll be given a guided tour of the original cottage,homestead and heritage gardens. Lunch is available to purchase at Churchill Island Cafe at your own expense.

The Penguin ParadeThe phenomenon of the Penguin Parade takes place each evening on floodlit Summerland Beach. The Little Penguins waddle across the beach to their burrows in the sand dunes while you watch from tiered stands and elevated boardwalks. Walk through the Visitor Centre's "Penguin World" and learn of the life of the Little Penguin. (Please bring warm clothing as nights can be cold on the island in any season).

We strongly recommend everyone to take out travel insurance.
Please check the time and date of the trip on the ticket, the ticket is non refundable, after the tour has departed APSE will NOT refund any unused ticket.

If after you have made a booking and you wish to change it to another date you can do so within 4 days notice. There is a refund of 50% of the ticket at 3 days notice, No refund with less than 3 days notice. A booking is only confirmed when full payment has been received and a booking number is advised.
